Sun and more sun

HI Y’aLL!!!!

TT week is fast approaching and for those who have never heard of the TT, it is basically one of the worlds biggest motorcycling events that takes place where I live, on the Isle of Man. In fact, I think it may be the biggest but I am not to sure. It is definitely one of the best things about living on the Island. I’m not gonna lie, I am soooooo not interested in motorbikes or any of that but the atmosphere and the fact that there is a fair makes it so exciting. Plus the super bike races are actually pretty cool even though it feels like when they drive past they are gonna fly into you.

Actually, funnily enough when I was in Obergurgle (Austria), I was sitting on a long ski lift ride up to a red run and I was sat next to two American guys who were asking about where I was from. After telling them I was from the Isle of Man they proceeded to start getting excited about the fact that the TT was there and that they always wanted to go. It is actually amazing how big the races are even though we are such a tiny Island. One of them even had a picture from the 2016 races as his home screen even though he’d never been.

BUT BACK TO THE BIT ABOUT THE FAIR. I am a huge thrill seeker. Well, only when it comes to stuff like theme parks, I’m not sure I’d ever want to throw myself out a plane. Although thats only because I wouldn’t be bothered to sit through the long safety briefing because I am very impatient. Not a good quality, I know. BUT ANYWAY, THERE IS A FAIR. Who cares if you pay loads of money for about 20 seconds on a lethal ride that is built in less than 24 hours, FAIRS ARE GREAT. Yes, one year I did spend over 50 pounds on a ride called vertigo which I went on at least 10 times but I have absolutely no regrets at all. It was so worth it. Who doesn’t love a good fair. Obviously its nothing compared to fairs such as ‘Winter-wonderland’ in London but for a tiny Island with only Topshop and a Maccies, it is pretty amazing.

I only have four exams left CAN YOU BELIEVE IT. I can’t wait to walk out of my final exam. But I can wait for results day. This summer I am going to Antigua and I am so excited and I will probably be blogging every day out there. So prepare for the spam. Also, I got Tumblr and I have no idea how it works so if someone could explain it to me I would be eternally grateful cuz I’m really confused😀

Anyways, I haven’t been able to take any nice photos recently because I have been so busy with my exams but here are some photos of my past holidays 🙂

Christmassss

HI ITS ME.

I went to this christmas lights festival thingy and it was freezing so I left but the lights were really pretty so it was worth it. There were fireworks and they were like only 10 metres above my head so I had to jump down from the wall and I landed in a puddle. I also got some trainers from TOPSHOP and got them really muddy so rip.

They are super comfy though. And sparkly. And pretty. And cool.

I finalllyyyyy managed to get my camera working so prepare to be spammed with plenty of super pointless photos xoxo. My friends have promised that if I write them an essay on how much I want a Thrasher T-shirt then they will buy it for me so right now rather than writing the 10 english essays due in on Wednesday, I am writing an essay on how a Thrasher T-shirt will change my life.

Also, I have spent more time deciding what I want for christmas than revising for my mocks so rip me. IM SORRY BUT CAN YOU BELIEVE I HAVE TO REVISE OVER CHRISTMAS!!!???!!!

I have successfully managed to hand tame my hamster and it is quite an achievement for me considering I have spent the last three weeks chasing her around my room trying to catch her. One morning I woke up and she was just sat on my floor staring up at me.

I ordered some tops off boohoo and they were both really nice except one of them I physically could not pull over my head. Like it was impossible. I spent half an hour trying and failing to put it over my head. There was no zip or anything? It was impossible and I tried to get my younger sister to fit it over her head but even she couldn’t and she is TINY. However the other top was sooooooooo nice and velvety. I tried out stone fox as well and I LOVE IT. I ordered a bralet and it came within like 24 hours and it was soooooo pretttyyy.

Anywaysss imma go eat some food now because I am SOOOOOO hungry.

CYA xoxo

Holidayz

YO ITS ME AGAIN

I have had a seriously busy week, its been halloween, bonfire night and American election day is tomorrow. To be honest I think election day is actually more scary than halloween. For halloween I went as a cat because, yes, I am basic. I went into town with the sole purpose of buying myself a double chocolatey chip frappe-chino from Starbucks because they taste so damn good and then remembered it was Halloween. I then went on the search for cat ears and a choker because that was all that popped into my head and found a cute lil headband with ears on in new look. It was only like four pounds and it was rose gold and who can’t resist rose gold. I also managed to find a thick black choker in Topshop. I actually forgot to buy myself a frappe-chino.

Bonfire night was cancelled because of the wind but luckily they changed the day and eventually the display took place. I have never been so cold in my entire life. It was bloody freezing.

On Friday I finally got my braces off. That was like such a massive thing for me because I have had pieces of metal glued to my teeth for THREE WHOLE YEARS. YES, THREE YEARS. It was super painful, I actually thought he was snapping my teeth off. Before I could even look at my teeth once my braces were removed my dentist shoved a weird mould thing in my mouth for retainers or something idk and I started gagging. It was horrible but so worth it. I am freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Last week, on Saturday, I was feeling really down and had a lil breakdown in Waterstones. I am not sure why I was in Waterstones but I think I chose to go there because it was warm and cozy and no-one was in there. Everything was kind of a blur. After I managed to pull myself together and I was ready to go and join my friends again I went outside and there was this fiddler. I play the violin so I stopped to watch for a bit, it was dark and no-one was really around. After he played he smiled and asked if I wanted to play, and in the state I was in I was kind of like sure, why not. I played a Lindsey Stirling piece because it was the only one that popped into my head at the time, and as I played (as cringy as this sounds) I felt empowered, like my confidence was falling back into place and the old man was clapping and dancing and the other two people on the street came to watch. A little five year old boy came up and gave me a pound, I tried to give it to the fiddler but he refused to take it and said I had earned it.

After feeling so low, it was a really precious moment for me. Like one of those small things that happen that turn into amazing memories. I’m sorry this sounds super cringy I’ll stop. Anyways, I went back after getting a costa to go and thank the guy for being so kind and there was like no sign of him.

Im gonna go 4 now but plz check out my insta:  https://www.instagram.com/tabbiiii/
